Australian animals and landforms

Students learned about the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru (Ayers Rock) during the study of physical features of Australia and drew some pictures  to share.

They also worked on animals posters.   Then they taught children at New Town in Monroe, NC all about these during a Skype session.

  1. Hi Roadrunners
Some very colourful and informative posters there – Australian animals are fascinating, mainly because they are so different to ours! Certainly here in the UK, the native wildlife is all fairly small – the biggest would be badgers and deer. I think if we saw kangaroos hopping around we’d fall over in surprise! Did you have a favourite animal you enjoyed learning about? How did you research your facts for your posters?
    Great work – well done!
